Zone 3: Spirit of the City

The installation shows the characteristic buildings of Toruń’s old town with a pinch of salt. The elements of the installation are atmospheric old town tenement houses of various specific shapes. The illuminated façade of each of them will feature a comic-book graphic made by Marcin Treichel, a cartoonist from Toruń. In addition, the buildings will contain luminous “architectural” elements on the sides of the installation, such as bricks or ceiling beams. The installation refers to the motifs of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and presents its cultural richness.
