Piecza Toruńska

This project was unanimously selected from 19 submitted works and will adorn the wall of a building at św. Katarzyny Street starting this fall. During the Festival, the mural will be projected onto the building's wall. "Piecza Toruńska" is an extraordinary piece of art designed to commemorate the city's history. The mural depicts an angel and Gothic buildings set on a tree, symbolizing the beginnings of Toruń and its historical roots. A unique feature of the project will be the incorporation of a real tree growing by the building, emphasizing the mural’s integration with its surroundings and adding an extra artistic dimension. Through this initiative, Toruń’s public space will gain a new, symbolic element that will surely captivate residents and visitors alike. "Piecza Toruńska" will not only beautify the city but also serve as a reminder of its rich history and cultural heritage.
