Zone 1: Hehku II
“Hehku II” is an installation consisting of two large screens that will present forest scenery contrasted with the surrounding man. The candy-coloured scenes are projected on the one hand to arouse our desire, and on the other to be a warning on climate change. In her work, the artist reflects on the relationship between humanity and nature. How does the surrounding environment affect us and how do we influence it? To what extent does our enjoyment of nature result from our pursuit of aesthetic or authentic experiences? And finally, what do we perceive as more real: an area built of brick and asphalt or a video montage of non-existent scenery?
