Zone 1: New Hope

Just as the event horizon prevents us from seeing what is behind it, the nest separates and protects the young from the outside world. In this carefully prepared refuge, a new life hatches, and with it a new hope. Building a nest is a symbolic field connecting humans with other animals. After all, we want to achieve exactly the same goal — to create a place where our offspring can safely grow up — in peace, away from dangers.

The work “New Hope” shows a nest that is a hybrid of culture and nature. Light pulses between the branches, above the heads of passers-by, deep in the intricately woven nest. Visible from a distance, the object attracts attention, encouraging to approach. The person who is tempted will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the organic world of sounds coming from within.
